Hi! I’m LaTerrian, but I mostly go by “LT”. I’m the Director and Founder of Outlast Film Camp. Outlast was born out of the frustration of minority misrepresentation in film and media. As a minority, I understood and empathized with the damage poor and inaccurate stories can do to one’s world view. I also recognize film and media as a tool for social change and wanted to bring together minorities so that we can aid each other in overcoming our obstacles.  But more about me. I’m a recent graduate from The University of Southern California, with a Bachelors in Film and Television Production. I’m pursuing a career in cinematography and documentary filmmaking. I’ve got a serious case of wanderlust and have travelled extensively. I play violin, ride horses, make films and obsess over Golden Retrievers.

Hi! I'm Nix and I'm a Pinay immigrant filmmaker and community organizer based in San Francisco. I like to use films for social change and healthy & purposeful entertainment. I received my BA degree in Film and TV Production from USC where I learned how to effectively tell stories not only with moving images, but also with sound. I'm currently learning how to organize and mobilize activists, community leaders and social justice warriors through the use of storytelling. I'm also an editor and soundie for Astig Vegan, a Filipino vegan cooking show on YouTube, and a proud member of Gabriela SF, a Filipina activist group resisting and fighting US imperialism. Finalmente, estoy estudiando español en City College of San Francisco.

I'm Lauren and I’ve been a storyteller since I roundhouse-kicked my way out of the womb. After discovering the beauty of film with a camcorder at age 10 and a predetermined decision to do comedy, film was the medium I knew I wanted to tell stories through. As I grew up and began to understand the injustices in the world, satire became my means of communicating the iniquity and corruption in a humorous package. I work as an audio engineer in Los Angeles and spend my free time creating via writing, music videos, filmmaking, playing piano, drawing and internally exploding over the cuteness of cats.

My name is Shelby Treichler. I grew up in Lexington, NC with a big family, lots of pets and lots of land to roam. In 2007, I moved to Wilmington, NC to study film at UNC-Wilmington where I graduated with honors degree in film and theatre. I've been working in narrative film and tv since then, first in Wilmington and then to Atlanta. I started in Art Department and then moved to Props Department. Though I love love crafting fiction I've been wanting to make a move to documentary for some time. This desired move has been partially inspired by my travels. In the past 5 years I've taken a month long train trip around the US, spent time hiking in Colorado, Utah and California, traveled to Ireland, Peru and just spent a month trekking in Nepal. I've met so many amazing people and heard so many amazing stories, stories that should be shared. I'm excited about where Outlast is now and where it might go in the future!

Kai Feliciano began her career in 2011 working on NASCAR and ESPN commercials in Charlotte, NC.
